New diddi dance classes starting in Dec 2015 & some in Jan 2016

We have a few Franchisees who just started some classed, have new classes starting next month and some who already know what classes they are launching in the New Year, so we wanted to be sure you new about all of them. Hopefully there is one opening near you!

diddi dance West & Central Edinburgh, Broxburn, Bo’ness & Surrounding recently started a class and has one starting in January:

  • Tuesdays @ 11:00am – Jenn’s DEN, 31 Corbiehill Road, Edinburgh, EH4 5BQ
    Free admission for children to Jenn’s DEN to use softplay if enrolled for diddi dance classes on that day
  • From 7th January, Thursdays @ 10:00am – Linlithgow at The Mackinnon Hall, Mill Road, Linlithgow, West Lothian, EH49 7RA

diddi dance Chester, Cheshire & North Wales has one new classin January:

  • From 7th January, Thursdays @ 9.45am –  Buckley Cross Community Centre, Tabernacle Street , Buckley, Flintshire, CH7 2JT
    This is in Association with Elsber School of Dance 

diddi dance Bristol just started one class and has a few more starting in January:

diddi dance London Borough of Richmond upon Thames has a taster next month for a class starting in January:

diddi dance Sunbury, Kingston & Walton recently started two new classes this month:

  • Tuesdays @ 10:00am & 10.45am – Caterpillars Cafe,, The Bentall Centre, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1TP
    Price includes entry to play cafe. Places are very limited so confirmation of

Some of our franchisees recently took part in Children in Need and helped raise money for the charity during their classes the week commencing 9th November.

diddi dance Bristol, diddi dance Woking, Guildford & Farnborough and diddi dance Eastbourne, Uckfield & Hastings all took part in the charity event asking their diddis to bring in a teddy bear to class to dance with them that week. Donation were then accepted from anyone willing to help. Here are some great shots captured from the week at all three locations!

All together our 3 franchisees raised a total £201.15! Well done to all the diddis and teddies who took part and helped raise money for Children in Need. We all say Thank You!

Research experts Smith & Henderson have today announced the finalists in the 2015 Best Franchise Awards sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland.

The awards are based on feedback from thousands of franchisees that have completed the Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark. The survey asks franchisees to anonymously rate their franchisor on everything from training and support to shared goals and how it has compared with their expectations.

AM diddi danceCongratulations are in order for diddi dance and Founder Anne-Marie Martin who a is a finalist in the Best Business Women Awards 2015. Anne-Marie is a finalist in two categories for these awards: Best Business Woman Working with Children & Families and Best Business Woman in Franchising.

The Best Business Women Awards were created by Debbie Gilbert, a multi award winning Mumpreneur who has been running small businesses since 1999. She knows first-hand the huge impact of winning a business award and believes that women running small businesses should be truly recognised for their achievements.  These new awards are specifically for women who are making a real difference not only in their own lives but in their local community.

About the categories Anne-Marie is a finalist for:

Best Business Woman Working with Children & Families – This award will be presented to the best business that supports children or families. They must prove the impact they make in their field and how their business provides support that makes a clear difference.

Best Business Woman in Franchising – This award will be presented to a woman who is performing brilliantly in a franchise business or who has franchised their business. Open to any type of business and to both franchisees and franchisors.

Over the past two months several award nominations have come through for diddi dance as a company and for some of our franchisees. See what we are currently up for below and if your local diddi dance has been nominated be sure to show your support by voting for them, if you can, and saying “Congrats” next time you are in class!

Inspirational Teacher AwardAnd our franchisee Gina Kane (nee Field) of diddi dance West London is up for the Inspiration Teacher Award. This award is voted for by the general public so please show your support not just for Gina but for all diddi dance teachers and vote for her by going here and clicking on her name/photo!
