Congratulations are in order for diddi dance and Founder Anne-Marie Martin who a is a finalist in the Best Business Women Awards 2015. Anne-Marie is a finalist in two categories for these awards: Best Business Woman Working with Children & Families and Best Business Woman in Franchising.
The Best Business Women Awards were created by Debbie Gilbert, a multi award winning Mumpreneur who has been running small businesses since 1999. She knows first-hand the huge impact of winning a business award and believes that women running small businesses should be truly recognised for their achievements. These new awards are specifically for women who are making a real difference not only in their own lives but in their local community.
About the categories Anne-Marie is a finalist for:
Best Business Woman Working with Children & Families – This award will be presented to the best business that supports children or families. They must prove the impact they make in their field and how their business provides support that makes a clear difference.
Best Business Woman in Franchising – This award will be presented to a woman who is performing brilliantly in a franchise business or who has franchised their business. Open to any type of business and to both franchisees and franchisors.

diddi dance is up for the Organisation Impact Award – An organisation or company with a mission to positively impact the dance industry through their services and opportunities.






The Mum in the Know award are voted for by their network of readers who have told them exactly what they love. After receiving over 3,000 nominations and 15,000 votes the winners were announced yesterday and we couldn’t be more pleased that two diddi dances won in their areas 🙂
The winners will be announced on 11th April, 2015 so we will be keeping our fingers crossed for you two!

the final line-up of The Mumpreneur Awards, an annual ceremony aimed at celebrating parents throughout the UK who manage the difficult task of juggling business with family life. The mother of 2 from South East London runs diddi dance, a franchised company that offers 45 minute dance classes to children ages 18 months to 4 years old, originally started as one class back in 2006.
As well as being shortlisted for this category, Anne-Marie is also in with a chance of winning the title of The Inspirational Business Mum 2014, which will be awarded to the mum who is an inspiration to all women in business, and could walk away with a fantastic prize.
