diddi dance Welcomes New Owner, Tilly Burrows, to South East Hampshire & Chichester

🩵✨ Welcome to Franchisee Life, Tilly! ✨🩵

We’re so excited to share that Tilly is now the proud new owner of diddi dance South East Hampshire and Chichester  🎉

Tilly first joined the diddi dance family as a teacher back in May 2024, and has already made a huge impact with her energy, creativity, and passion for helping little ones grow in confidence through dance. 💃🕺

Before joining diddi dance, Tilly studied dance at college and went on to start her own company running dance clubs in local primary schools — giving children the chance to experience the joy of movement from an early age. ❤️

She first discovered diddi dance on social media, and when a friend later tagged her in a post about teaching opportunities, she knew it was the perfect fit!

Since then, Tilly has loved adapting her teaching style for our diddi dancers — finding it incredibly rewarding to watch children go from quietly observing to dancing along to every single song. 🌟

We’re absolutely thrilled to have Tilly continuing her diddi dance journey as a franchisee — bringing her enthusiasm, warmth, and love of dance to even more little ones across South East Hampshire & Chichester. 💚

diddi dance Attends Children’s Activities Association Ignite Conference 2025

What a fabulous day out for the Head Office dream team – Anne-Marie, Helena, Donna and Jane attended the Children’s Activities Association Ignite Conference!

It was a rare occasion that they were able to be together at an event, and they had a wonderful time catching up with so many friends and colleagues from across the children’s activities sector. The energy, inspiration and shared passion in the room was amazing – all set in the incredible Sky Studios venue.

Ignite! is the Children’s Activities Association (CAA)’s flagship conference, bringing children’s activities businesses of all shapes and sizes from across the UK together, along with their suppliers. And this year’s Headline Sponsor is adsmart from Sky. 

It is the only event truly dedicated to equipping activity providers with the knowledge, skills, and connections they need to run a successful business while raising standards across the sector.

Its the Children’s Activities Association 10th birthday and it had a focus on mindset, wellbeing, personal growth, and support,

Charlotte from diddi dance Shropshire Wins Great British Franchise Award 2025

Children’s dance class franchisee wins prestigious Great British Franchisee Award

Charlotte Burgess, a diddi dance franchisee who has been teaching children’s dance classes across Shropshire since 2019, has won a whichfranchise Great British Franchisee Award.

The awards, now in their 5th year, celebrate business success and reflect the winners’ achievements in stability, growth, staff retention, customer satisfaction, community involvement, inspired leadership and their involvement in the franchise network.

Before becoming a diddi dance franchisee, Charlotte already had experience of what makes the brand so special as she worked as a teacher for the previous franchise owner. This experience gave her an understanding of the day-to-day running of the business, as well as the energy and connection needed to engage children and parents in each session. And ultimately led her to want a diddi dance franchise of her own!

It was this passion for the brand that really stood out to the judges. They could tell how much Charlotte loves her job and being part of the diddi dance family. She truly is a strong advocate for the importance of dance for children’s health and well-being.

Charlotte’s determination and hard work has paid off as she has had the biggest growth in the network in the past 12 months.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be named a winner of the Great British Franchisee Award 2025,” commented Charlotte.

 As franchisees, the day-to-day is often so fast-paced that we rarely stop to reflect, so the application process was a brilliant opportunity to recognise just how much has been accomplished over the years. What a fab day!

We had an amazing time on Friday at the Disruptive Franchise Awards 2025 reconnecting with friends across the franchising world and celebrating excellence in our industry.

A huge congratulations to Helena from diddi dance Head Office for winning Support Manager of the Year – we’re so proud you! And cheers to all the winners and finalists. Its wonderful to see such talent recognised, especially in the Children’s Activities sector.

Thank you to Stacey Cann for organising such a fabulous day and your hard work made the event shine.

Jane Mitchell from diddi dance Bexley & Orpington accompanied Helena on the day for that extra support, and we loved catching up with fellow franchisees and industry colleagues – the energy, passion and support across our community really came through. Here’s to more milestones, more celebrations and lifting each other up!
